The book analyses the work and approach of graphic designer Hans Neuburg. The chapters move from his texts — written by the designer in publications such as Neue Grafik, NZZ, and Industriegrafik — to a deconstruction of his work in his fields of expertise: posters, leaflets, and logo design. Each chapter starts with an overview page, followed by a detailed analysis of the graphic components (typography, colours, grey tones, shapes, images, etc.). His texts and correspondence, displayed at the beginning of the book, offer insights into his philosophy and position.
